Overview

I recently took part in a UX Hackathon, where I tackled a given problem individually, working against the clock to deliver a solution within 48 hours.

Understanding the problem statement

HR is struggling with filtering employee names or subsets, finding the process of selecting the right audience for existing survey is time-consuming and inefficient.

Why is this a Problem?

This problem presents significant challenges for HR teams, especially in large organizations where managing and organizing employee data is critical for several reasons:

• Efficiency and Productivity: The multi-step, time-consuming process of filtering survey audiences reduces HR efficiency and distracts from strategic tasks.
• Survey Effectiveness: Inefficient audience selection can delay surveys and lead to inaccurate targeting, resulting in irrelevant or outdated feedback.
• Data Management and Compliance: Ineffective filtering can lead to outdated records and scalability issues, potentially causing compliance risks in growing companies.
• Employee Experience: Perceived inefficiency in HR processes can harm employee engagement and morale, especially if survey-related improvements are delayed.

How is it a Problem to HR ?

HR’s core functions include building employee engagement, improving retention, fostering community, and maintaining a healthy work environment.

Inefficient processes in managing surveys and other repetitive tasks can divert HR’s focus from these critical goals, ultimately impacting the company’s overall effectiveness.

Objective

To streamline this process to save time, reduce the number of steps required, and ensure accuracy in selecting the right audience.By achieving this, HR teams can :
